A few years ago I went thru a spate of redundancies (3 in 2 years!).
With the first one, I was only in employment for 22 months (under min statutory)
The second, I was under the 12 months, and the same with the 3rd.
My question is if I was to get a 4th redundancy with present employer (4 years in service) would I be liable for Tax or is it related to the statutory redundancy.
To be honest I can't remember if I was taxed or not, or if I even got anything from any of the 3 companies (lets just say if I did get something it was so small I didn't even notice)
I don't want to ring the tax office just yet.
Thanks,
