Tax free investment?

I have about €50k which I wish to invest in a tax free way.

I have been considering Prize Bonds...

I wonder are there any other investments out there where I could get a return in a tax free way, (no DIRT)?

Are there any offshore investments with this facility?

Why does it need to be tax free? What if a taxed investment would yield more, after tax, than the best untaxed one..?!
 
And Prize Bonds are not really an investment as such - they're a ticket to a lottery that is redeemable at the original nominal (and subject to inflation) value. Fine to have a few bob in them if you like a flutter where you can get your nominal sum back but not the most appropriate place for for €50K in most cases I would assume.
