Tax credits

I heard that you are entitled to tax credits if you have a credit union account? Is this true and can anyone tell me about it?

I know that you are entitled to claim for Medical expenses, tax relief on your mortgage and your refuse collection.

Is there anything else that I can claim for.

Perhaps you mean special CU accounts which are exempt from DIRT up to certain limits? See [broken link removed]. Have you also checked about common tax credits/allowances?

The guy who runs this site (Martin Burgees - I think) was on the Matt Cooper show last week and mentioned that if you had a standard credit union account you could claim credits for that.
