Tax Credits, just married

Hi,
I wonder can anybody help me on this one. I am self employed an am pretty much working off savings whilst I build up the business.I have just got married and want to pass on my Tax Credits on to my wife (who is PAYE) so that she can benefit from my current situation?

You may not be able to do anything until next year, as I think that in the year of marriage you are both taxed as single people but you may be able to claim a refund for the portion of the year that you are married. Check out more on www.revenue.ie

You should inform the revenue now though of your date of marriage
