Hi,

It looks like my salary is about to take a plunge as a result of the current economic crisis. What is the best way to work out what my salary will end up at. I am married and I assume I can pass some tax credits to my husband?

Can someone advise on where to seek info? I can suggest a figure to reduce my salary to so I want to work out what works out best tax wise. My husband's salary is 80k and I'm on 57k. Should I reduce my salary to below the threshold for 42% tax or does that make any difference???
