Hi, can anybody tell me what kind of tax back I am untitled to when being made redundant and not working for a period of time? As I will not have used all my tax free allowance, I suppose that there is a way I can claim the allowance, but cannot find any info anywhere
I expect to be made redundant in June. Previous to that, I will have been on maternity leave for 18 weeks, does the maternity leave count as a period of employment or is it treated differently for tax purposes? I do not expect to find another job before the end of the tax year...Many thanks in advance for your answers!
