Tanager not allowing us to sell house, previously agreed with Bank of Scotland

Hi there
We had an agreement wit BOS to sell the house and negotiate the shortfall however before the sale was complete our mortgage was sold. Tangers have refused to allow the sale of the house - where does this leave us?
