Hi,
I am due to visit Vilnius for a meeting in September and I am considering trying to take in Talinn and Riga also.
Has anyone had any experience on taking this route? I would not be confident enough to fly/drive as I am travelling alone (female, early 50s) and would appreciate any suggestions.
Nothing could be easier and a wonderful way to spend a few days.
Loads of direct comfy coaches between the cities -a few hours between each one for between €12-€20 each stage depending on the company. Lux is one of the biggest and most reliable.
Obviously you fly into Vilnius for your meeting and then fly back from Tallinn to Dublin. Twould be silly to go up and then back on the same route.
And if you have time it's only a few hours from Tallinn to Helsinki by boat -twice daily- and you could fly out from Helsinki to Dublin.
P.S. Kaunus is under an hour from Vilnius and worth a quick visit.
