Health Insurance Switching health insurance from LAYA need to keep cover level

LAYA Essential Connect 300 switch to VHI or Irish Life… same level of cover plan recommendations please?

will I be covered for upcoming procedure 4480 which requires pre authorisation. I meet criteria but afraid to switch as LAYA have made the process so stressful - policy due for renewal this week..

Hi Maisey,

Welcome to AAM.

You would need to confirm this with the two insurance companies rather than asking here to be on the safe side.

VHI (my insurer) have the option to check your cover online and Laya would appear to have something similar here.

If it was an in anyway expensive procedure I would prefer to stay with my present insurer but that's just me being too careful as usual
