I want to switch my mortgage to a different bank and fix it for 2 to 3 years. What's the best switch mortgage offer we have at the moment for 250K worth of mortgage? Does anyone have experience with using a broker for switch and still got cashback offer from BOI or KBC or other bank? Thank you.
 
Why not do a few multiple switches and make yourself €15,000 in the process. If you are going to gather up all the paperwork required for 1 switch why not use it and apply for 4/5 switches. Apply to PTSB, BOI and EBS all doing 2% cash back, then KBC who are doing €3000 cash back then Ulster Bank to fix for 2 or 3 years, they are giving €1500 cash back towards legal fees. Read the various posts about multiple switches.
 
Any particular reason for using a broker?
You will still get the cashback. Just make sure it's a BOI broker.
 
My friend told me that going through a broker would be quicker to switch and they manage the documenation required from insurance etc.
