That's the way it should be though. The decision of a court has to be seen to be fair, to be impartial and to be legitimate. Otherwise the administration of justice becomes a function of partisan politics or, worse, mod rule.
Any actions what undermine the perceived legitimacy of the judiciary are dangerous, especially when those actions are taken by members of the judiciary itself. This whole thing stinks and combined with social media and the rise of populist political parties such as the Shinners it is very dangerous as it undermines the institutions of the State.
