Surveyors?

I wondered if anyone could recommend a surveyor in the Sligo/Leitrim area? Am hoping to buy an old property which has had some restoration work done, but feel it needs a proper examination. The Society of Chartered Surveyors site doesn't seem to have any members in the North-West. Is there any significant difference between a Chartered Surveyor or an engineer undertaking a survey?
