I have a car loan with AIB bank which I took out in March last year. Yesterday I received a letter from them saying that they didn't give me all the benefits I should have got when taking out the loan, and therefore were refunding me €250. They didn't go into detail about what these benefits were (other than that they were something to do with graduate car finance) but I'm not complaining!
So I got a small cut of their €3.8m a day profits!
Graduates usually get cheaper interest rates than 'civilians'. They may have put you on a higher 'civilian' rate so you may pay more interest than the €250 refund. You should check it out.
