Supplier wants to revise quotation

Advice appreciated,

I recieved a quotation from a company for some plumbing materials. I rang the sales man who issued the quote to confirm that the products were suitable. He told me that he had written an incorrect price on the quote!! to the tune of €500!

Where do I stand on this? Can I make him honour his origional quotation?

No , as you have not paid yet there is not contract... it's still at the invitation to treat stage , the same rules apply to a miss labelled item in a shop....

Doesn't really matter though does it - it's only a quote - just go elsewhere no?

i agree with caveat. maybe the guy was new to the job or overlooked an item, why try to hang him? if you dont like the price he's quoting go elsewhere
