Hi there I registered a dole claim at the beginning of January and seeing as it still hasn't been processed, I went to my local health office today for supplementary allowance.
However, I was told that the health office cannot process my claim without my P45 as I handed this into the dole office. But the dole office say that they do not give these back - can anyone help me with what to do next? I only handed in the bottom part of the P45, I still have parts 2 and 3 of it.
Thanks in advance.
The reason the CWO requires your P45 is to confirm the date you ceased employment, and it also confirms your PPSN. If parts 2 and 3 show the relevant date this will be sufficient. The CWO will take a copy of your documentation and return the original to you.
The dole office should give you a copy of your P45 so that you can give this to the CWO- ask again-explain your situation- if staff are unhelpful then ask to see the Manager
