Sunscreen in Boots

I'm lucky enough to be heading on holidays to somewhere that will actually require me to wear sun screen

Shopping in Boots, they have a good "twofor one" offer on their own-brand sunscreens. Contrary to what I would expect though, the small pouches are actually cheaper by volume than the large bottles. So e.g. a 50ml pouch of factor 30 sunscreen (you can't be too careful!) is about €35 per litre but a 200ml bottle of *exactly the same stuff* is €71 per litre.

So I bought four of the little pouches, and got two for one on all of them!

That's interesting, I know the same thing was happening in supermarkets with beer and nappies, i.e. box of nappies on special offer or box of beer on special offer turned out to be more expensive than individual packs.

I've seen the same thing happen, even with grocery shopping. BTW does anyone know the name of the Chemist?pharmacy at the Airport - not the one on the duty free corridor. A moisturer I use was spotted on the shelf there. Have searched everywhere for it, but this is the only place it has been seen. If I knew the name of the pharmacy I could give them a ring.

Oh, I know, ask the person who spotted it *sigh* I did, but she can't remember the name of the chemist either. "moisturer" hmmmmm, even my spelling is poor!!! I'm looking for a particular moistureiser.

Have no link to back this up but as far as I remember there was a study carried out a couple of years ago (2 or 3) on how good suncreams are and the Boots own-brand (Soltan I believe) was just about the best. Will try and find that report.
