Sunday Work Tax? & Are Bonus/Tips taken into consideration by mortgage providers

Number of various questions.

1. If you work sundays do u pay tax?
2. Bonuses/ Tips. Are they genuinely taken serious when applying for a mortgage? i.e when working in the catering business this can be a major part of your take home pay.

1. Yes, of course.
2. I can't be certain, but I'd say you would have to give the lender evidence of how much you earn in tips if you want them to be taken into account when applying for a mortgage. I'm sure one of the brokers that contribute will give you a more definitive answer.

Thought so. I heard somewhere that you didn't have to claim as it was "unsociable" hours. Thanks

Thats why you usual get paid more for working it
 
The lender would be concrened with the 'permanency'of the income. Whilst it could be large and continuous, dress it up as 'tips' and they will knock it off.
