Sunday Pay

Help! My employer has cut me from double pay on sunday to flat rate because i switched to working part time as i am now i college. whats going on eh? Can he really do that?

My reading of this would imply that he cannot, as he is treating you less favourably purely on the basis that you are a part-time worker.

"Objective grounds" for treating a part-time worker less favourably than a comparable full-time employee are based on considerations other than the status of the employee as a part-time worker.

Berni you legend. Thanks a mil. He didnt even bother telling me he was cutting my pay he just oh so sneakily cut my wages back. And then he told me it was because i was part time and i said that was illegal. then he said it was because i am working less than 18 hours a week, and i am working twenty. Then he said it was because i broke my contract. What contract i asked and then he said it was a mistake that i was paid double time in the first place. Imagine my annoyance! I have been working for him for 2 years! he is just chancing his arm now i swear to god!

Im moving this from 'other financial issues' to 'jobs and employment'.

He is chancing his arm. He is out of line and you are entitled to the same pay rates that you got when you were full time.
