I am looking for a week away for myself and my wife. I want something not that far away. lots of sun, No kids,good food,pool and nice area. I dont mind getting the flights myself and getting a car to the hotel.

Lots of sun probably equals Spain, or Portugal to a lesser extent. Easy to get to, Aer Lingus to Malaga or Alicante, Ryanair to Malaga, Almeria or Murcia. Lots of hotels or apartments on the web, car hire cheap, food good and inexpensive. Wish I had the time off, I'd go now!

I have no connection with them, I was just given the heads up by a mate a couple of years ago and I find them the cheapest by far, all the time. No catch either, prices include insurance and they're not trying to sell you loads of extra cover etc.
