Flying with Aer Lingus at the end of the month and was wondering if a suit bag would be accommodated as hand luggage or will i have to check it in?

Cheers,
Stevo.

depends on the dimensions and weight of the suit bag. I have a samsonsite suite bag that is the max size for carry on luggage and have never had a problem bringing it on board.

The bag is not one of the foldable ones, this is the rigid kind, the one with sholder straps etc.

Anyone?

The dimensions of a rigid suit bag are too big to carry on to a flight in Europe. In the US you'd probably get away with it but not here.

D'oh,

Thats what i thought, i guess the suit and wifes dress with just have to go into the checked in baggage!
