Suggestions for spa hotel in Alicante

Heading to Torrevieja for a week in Sept with friends but 2 of us would like to cut lose for a night and check into a nice spa hotel for R & R. Ideally on a coastal area, where we could head off and drive for a bit to get there, maybe an hour or 2-2.5.. Any ideas....
