suggestions for automatic car - region of 12000

I will be returning to Ireland in June to live in Dublin. I will need to buy a car, automatic, region of 12,000 to 14,000 euro. Need it to very reliable, economical, easy to handle around town, easy to park, able to make the occasional longer journey and be comfortable enough to take two tall adults and the shopping. Doesn't need to be new...thinking of something maybe a year old or so. Any suggestions on make or model would be welcomed

autos tend to be a poor reseller so you shoule be able to get good value
