Suggest 'tradtional' jeans for a male?

Hi

Been wearing Levis for about 25 years and I'm getting a bit disillusioned - the last couple of pairs are simply not lasting nearly as long as they used to . Anyone else finding this?

Got a pair of 507s about 3 years ago and they are already beginning to show that tell tale 'fluffiness' around the knee - the beginnings of a threadbare situation. My last pair were the same. They used to last me 6+ years at least.

So I'm maybe considering a change - I don't like most 'trendy' jeans, with mad patterns on the pockets and 'detail' as they say etc. Don't like Wrangler either.

Can anyone suggest a good looking, hard wearing fairly traditional style brand. I think Diesel have some fairly sedate stuff for example & Sonetti maybe?

Any ideas for a soon to be former Levis buyer?

That facial expression looks like what I'll be like in about 50 years if I don't change brands.
