Suggest a tall plant beside lavender?

I have an area of about 3 metre x 3 metres planted with about 20 lavender shrubs dotted evenly in the space. It's in a SW facing garden.

I want to plant something tall in between the spaces as focal points. I want to plant around 5 plants that will grow no more than 1.5metres high - be tall and slim - idiot proof - low maintenance, organic shape (compared with boxed or topiary), white or pink colour would be preferable...

I was considering white standard roses. Can anyone suggest anything to give the wow factor in this lavender bed?

Thanks to any inspired gardeners' advice.

White shrub roses in that lavender bed sound excellent and are an instance of companion-planting as aphids avoid lavender so your roses will be pest-free.

You could plant a single Olive Tree specimen or a series of Olive half Standards?
