Hi, I graduated last october in law and I am currently doing my FE1s. Considering undertaking a masters in london in September. Looking for a student loan and I went into AIB.
I need circa 15k to cover fees, accomm., and living over there.. They said as im a student I get a reduced rate of 8.4% apr variable compared to about 10.9 apr for non-students. I want to know is this competitive or would I be better off going elsewhere?
Basically, it will be deferred payment for the first year, I will pay interest only for year 1 which works out at 96eur per month. Then upon completion of 1yrs masters I will start paying capital of 15k over say three years..
