Strimmer

I have a large hilly bank (could not worl a lawn-mower) that I need to hit with a strimmer. I used to borrow one (petrol), but it had died so I need to buy one. I am based in Shankill, and was wondering is someone could recommend a) a place to buy one and b) what one to get. The area involved would be equivalent to a large garden and the vegetation is heavy grass. An electric one would not do the job, unless it was much beefier than any one that I have ever seen.

They have a large selection of strimmers ranging from tiny mini strimmers to the larger pertrol powered ones for cutting through denser grass.

A hover mower would probably work for you too - I use a petrol one on our banks.

If you want to buy a strimmer try Sugarloaf Tool Hire in Bray. Husqvarna make some excellent strimmers.

As demoivre suggests, you could use the Flymo XL500 petrol hover mower. It's got a Honda 5.5hp petrol engine. We use them on steep slopes.
