Hi there,
I have a garage entrance in a rear lane way, which is quite narrow. A neighbour is anxious to have the Local Authority placed opposite from my entrance, not so so keen to have it across from hers. It would make entering and leaving my garage more difficult (I already have to contend with a Telephone pole.)
My neighbor said she going going to get the Local Authority to install it.
My question is: is planning permission required by the Local Authority to install such a street lamp in a public area?
My fear is the street lamp could be installed without any form of consultation with myself or indeed any other neighbors.
