Strasbourg- Access via Ryanair/Aer Lingus.

I'm just wondering what is the nearest and most convenient airport to fly to, to visit Strasbourg if flying Ryanair or Aer Lingus. The plan is to use local bus or shuttle coach from the airport?

Frankfurt. That's how a lot of the MEPs go. There are buses and trains into Strasbourg. Alternatively fly into Paris and take the TGV down.

Other options at the moment are Air France Dub-CDG-Stras or Dub-London City-Stras or Czech Air Dublin-Prague-Strasbourg. The Czech air route is being cancelled soon AFAIK.

Another option is Ryanair to Karlsruhe-Baden - I know several people who use this route as easy access to Strasbourg from there.

Thanks for both replies. I had been considering the Karlsruhe route. I see that there is a coach transfer for the London Ryanair route but does anyone know if there is a coach transfer for the Dublin Karlsruhe route?
