Strange question: suggestions for sticking the upholtery to the ceiling

My wife has a starlet with a sunroof. The sunroof leaked and as a result the upholstery has come away from the car ceiling due to dampness. I have sorted the leak but wondered if anyone had suggestions for sticking the upholtery to the ceiling. The ceiling has a plastic covering.

Sounds like your headlining has had it. No easy fix methinks.
