Stoves, back boilers & OFCH

Some great threads on the subject - thanks. We're putting in oil fired central heating & back boiler with stove into our 25 year old house which has no heating. Would love to put dual faced boiler into sitting room - break into kitchen dining area behind the wall and that way (in theory) you have a stove bridging two rooms. Someone mentioned that as there is only one chimney then it's not possible. Would anyone have any ideas?

Hunter are one brand that do stoves which can be opened from two sides. if you contact your local fireplace/stove supplier, they should be able to advise.

Thanks for the advice folks. We've decided to keep the two rooms seperate in the end. Costs played a big factor I'm afraid!
