Stonybatter - should I stay or should I go?

Hi all,

Young single girl thinking of buying in Stonybatter. Like the character of the houses but are they value for money? Like the location but are safety concerns here any different from any other city centre area?

Not in my experience living in the area since '95. There's at least one existing thread on the Manor Street/Stoneybatter area which might be worth checking out.

stoneybatter is a friendly place, neighbours watch your car that kind of thing. There's plenty of knackers too but I've alway felt safe there.
