I'm finally getting around to putting drainage into my back garden and I'm having no luck sourcing a quarry that sells 2 Inch chippings for drainage.Anyone know of someone near Portlaoise?I also don't need the 20 Tonne truck can you get it by the 1 Tonne bag?

I'm in Portlaoise and I'm very surprised that you can't source a suitable stone for drainage. Try Tom Lacumber (sp?) in Stradbally, he's in the telephone book, he might deliver small loads. I've seen adverts in both the Leinster Express and The Link-Up (parish newsletter) for small deleveries of stone and sand. If you have access to a trailer you can call to a quarry yourself, although you might want to ring ahead to be sure. Carroll Quarries, near Castletown is one. I'm pretty sure Telfords deliver aggregate in 1 tonne dumpy bags also.
