Stockholm

Just wondered if anyone has been to Stockholm recently and if it is still considered very expensive for a city break.??

I was there in 2006. It is no dearer than any other capital city. Alcohol can be very pricy.

For what it's worth, I thought Gothenburg was a better city.

I was going for Stockholm because of the Ryanair/Aer Lingus direct flights.......

It's not a bargain destination certainly , but it's not that different from Dublin prices really (alcohol is a bit more expensive yes, but not outrageously so) ... I wouldn't let the prices put you off really , it's not that bad at all and it is a lovely city
