Stock control/ accounts for web business

I run an online shop for baby clothes and gifts. To date I have recorded everything to do with accounts in an excel sheet but it is getting busy and trying to keep everything updated is a pain. Is there any stock control accoutn system you would be recommend that doesn't cost the earth and preferably one that is compatible with oscommerce!

Hi Lozza,

If you look at www.oscommerce.com it lists the likes of Click and Buy, Sagepay, Paypal and Amazon payments so those payment software programmes would be compatible with this shopping cart.

As Sage also do accounts packages that incorporate stock control and link to Sage Pay your best bet is probably to give them a ring about both? Bear in mind though with web stores - while you can purchase the accounts and sign up to the payment service, you will still need a web developer to link the payment service to your shopping cart and to link your online stock and sales to the same in your accounts package.

Try freshbooks, www.freshbooks.com. Everything you need in an online platform (so you won't need to pay for expensive installation software and everything is backed up). For less than 100 customers you'll pay about €25pm.
