Stock Award in 2004, vests in 2005

Do details of stock award granted in 2004 have to be included on the Form 11 even though they do not vest until 2005?

My understanding is that the stock award (upon vesting) triggers tax at the marginal rate and that no PRSI is payable. But a communication from employer suggests that "details" must be included on the return from the year in which the award is made, even though it has not yet vested.

Filing online via ROS - I assume that these "details" (if they should be provided) would go under the "Other" tab of the "Benefit in Kind" area of the return, perhaps with an amount due of zero and an explanation in the "Specify" field?

Even though no tax due at the moment (except perhaps as preliminary tax for 2005) don't want to leave this out of the return as I understand employer furnishes details of stock award to revenue and wouldn't want to look like we're ignoring this!

Any thoughts? I will also be sending query to ROS help via email.
