If we still had the Irish Pound what would the Sterling exchange rate be?

I read that Sterling had fallen to a 31 year low against the Euro what would it have been against the old Irish pound?

Based on the rate per the ECB (80.75p), the Punt would be notionally worth GBP£1.025.

Note that although GBP has fallen to a long-term low against USD, it has not fallen to a low against the euro.

Last Fri it fell from 76.5 to 80.5 pence.

But a year earlier it was around 80p as well.

And during much of 2010-2013 it was at 85-90 pence.

True, it was lower in 2011 (around 1.17 EUR for 1 GBP) and of course 2008 (almost parity!) but it still has lost quite a bit in the last few days.
No surprise given the Euro has lost against the USD as well.

Thanks. Back in the day if the Irish Pound was stronger I would be looking at ways to buy cheap Sterling for holidays, purchases etc. Doesn't feel quite the same now with the Euro for some reason. Maybe I am missing a trick?
Should I be booking my flights via the U.K. or purchasing cheap U.K. shares with even cheaper Sterling. Or maybe just stock up on cheap printer ink?
