Stepaside - St Patricks Park

hi there, we are moving in the next few weeks to rent somewhere around Sandyford. I've seen a couple of houses advertised in St Patricks Park but don't know Stepaside area really apart from the new developments like Aikens Village and Cruagh Wood. Does anyone know if this is a nice estate? We have a 4 year old son and want somewhere family oriented, quiet, no anti social behaviour and prefer young families rather than older teenagers so little guy might have a few friends to play with.

Hi mrsmaz, I know the area well, it's a mature settled estate now. As a result you won't have to worry too much about anti-social behaviour but as it has matured the age profile has too, so not so many families with young kids. Most families are reared and there are quite a few older people.

Stepaside is nice and The Step Inn is a good spot.
