Start Up Company - Seed Capital Scheme?

Hi

Would a new limited company trading as a shop qualify for the Seed Capital Scheme?

I understand that previously it would not have, but this may have changed under the Finance Act 2011.

I have read the Revenue guides for the Seed Capital Scheme and associated Employment Investment Incentive.
The guide from Revenue lists "Adventures or concerns in the nature of trade" as an activity that is not eligible. I cant find a definition for this.
