stanley or mulberry

Have underfloor heating in a new build, open plan kit/liv/dining.

I am going to install a non-boiler stove that will not be sufficient to heat the whole room, but will help.

I have decided on an 8 KW stove because at least then it won't be too hot to sit near it.

So for me its either the Mulberry (yeates) or the Stanley (Tara)!!!

Anyone got experiences to share about these stoves to help me decide

A stove producing 8 Kw is a fairly big beast to sit in front of, the most common complaint being, "I never get to see the end of the film because I fall asleep from the heat".
Personally I would not recommend either brand, as both make some very impressive claims one even claims to be Irish! when both are made in China, in fairness to Stanley they tend to back up their warranty.

Thanks Peter C.
I had heard that the stove parts are made in China alright and assembled here. Is there an Irish/other equivalent you might recommend ??????????

I have a stanley tara, it was more expensive than the yeates but I feel its better quality.

As far as i know the Mulberry yeates has a slightly higher output in terms of heat.

Hope this helps
