Stamps for Charity??

Hi All not sure of I'm posting this in the right section but I'm just wondering if anyone knows of charities that collect used postages stamps??
The woman who i took over for in my job used to collect the stamps from her post for a charity and i continued doing this cos i thought it was a great idea but I can't seem to find info on who to send them too and I've quite a lot of them now!
Does anyone here do this and know who I could send them to??
