Stamps after maternity leave

Does anyone have any information on the following. If after maternity leave a person decided not to return to work would she be entitled to stamps every week, A version of dole. This person would have been working for the last 4 years without a break. If so how much would this be and would a partners earnings come into play.

Stamps are PRSI payments not "dole". I think you're a bit confused here. Do you mean can PRSI payments continue to be made after maternity leave and no return to work or can "dole" (Unemployment Benefit or Assistance) be claimed? If you mean can PRSI payments be made then the SW Homemaker Scheme or Voluntary Contributions might be of relevance. If you mean dole/UB/UA then a fundamental qualifying condition for these is that the individual is genuinely available for and seeking work so if this is not the case then the individual is not entitled to claim.
