Hi, In calculating stamp duty ,I see from a previous post that the duty is calculated on the value of the house excluding any value assigned to the contents. Would integrated items in a kitchen be considered as fixtures and fittings and consequently not allowable. .Should I remind my solicitor to make allowance for contents as I read somewhere that many of them were calculating on the full value
