If you buy an apartment off plans and pay for a parking space in addition, is stamp duty calculated on the total cost of apt + parking space or just on the apartment price?
If you sell the apartment, can you keep the parking space i.e. does it get a seperate deed?
Depends on the existing deeds. I know in my apartment block (11 years old), you may not own a parking space without owning at least one apartment in the same complex. If you sell your apartment, you must sell the parking space also.
