I wonder does anyone know if you buy an apartment and also buy an optional car park space do you pay stamp duty on the amount for the car park space aswell?
It depends on if there is a separate deed for the car parking space. The rate of stamp duty is lower for land although I'm not exactly sure what it is, so you will definitely save something by listing it separately on your return form.
