I bought my house as a first time buyer and was exempt from stamp duty. I have plans (in a couple of years) to build an extension.
Is Total Floor Area one of the criteria for getting the exemption in the first place?
Whats the total floor area allowed and how long do i have to abide by this until they can no longer send me a bill retrospectively for the duty?
