Stairs lift in house and not wanted.

Hey guys

I have just purchase a house in dublin recently and on the stair case there is a stair lift which the previous owner had.

I'm looking to get rid of it, Dont want money for it but would like it to go to a good place.

not sure if it works but its fairly good condition.

It's a straight staircase

Anybody have any suggestions on how I can get rid of it??
 
I experienced this recently, when a relative passed away. None of the installers were really interested in it citing health and safety reasons. One even quoted me a fee for taking it away. I did get one company to come and take it away and they gave me something for it. They could use it for parts apparently.

Ring the original installer and see if they want it, there should be a sticker on it. Ring a few more if they don't want it also. Here are a few of them from a previous post of mine.

It has a value, had to get one for a relative at short notice a couple of years back and found ita challenge but got one after a thorough search, run a small ad, you will find somebody will be very glad to get it, suggest adverts.ie
