hi all

just wondering if anyone has used staircase manufacture & how ye got on with them?? got prices off them , big diff in price between red deal & ash / white oak but thinking of either ash or white oak

also wondering if there is anywhere else in the south east u might recommend?

We just had our teak stairs put in a few weeks ago. We bought it from Staircase Manufacturers in Lacken, New Ross. We are very happy with it. I can't say what it cost exactly because it was included in our builders quote. I do know our builder (he has been at the game for years) always uses them.

We tried getting quotes from Pat Rudkins Joinery in Bagenalstown, Co. Carlow. We rang, posted and emailed them countless times but they never got back to us. I do know however that they make lovely staircases. My brother got his stairs from them 5 years ago.
 
Gerard O'Leary in Newtown, Ferns Enniscorthy is one that I would recommend.

I know that they are on annual leave at present as a friend has a stairs on order with them which was ready for installation last week but the heating was'nt on in the house so it can't be fitted til that's sorted.

I have no connection with the company, but I have seen their work numerous times and I recommended my friend to go with them and their price was very reasonable.
 
We got white oak from Andy roche joinery , Blackwater, top notch job and very keen price.

secman, if you dont mind saying, how much was your white oak staircase supplied and fitted please ?
