Has anyone ever had stained glass panels made.
I am getting two made with double glazing and the stained glass encased in the middle.
They are 1030mm x 615mm.
The glass is toughened and unbreakable!
The cost is 850 for the two, not fitted.
There are not that many places which supply this type of thing so I haven't much to go on.
Does anyone have any idea if that price seems ok?
 
I was interested in having this done for an internal door-but this seems very pricey to me. Dont know where to get it done though. who is doing it for you?

try Douglas Glass, they are in Co Monaghan, no web site, bound to be in Phone book. They supply the trade, and will probably put you in contact with a local supplier to you.
I have seen there brochure and there are lots of designs to choose from
I have no commercial interest in this Co.
 
I am going with Graficur in Limerick.
Wouldn't have time to check out places too far away from home as up to my eyes in final preparation, want to move in six weeks.
He has informed me 850 is the top price if I choose a very elaborate design may be cheaper if I choose a more simple design, cheking it out today, will report back.
