Looking for advice for day part of a stag trip to GAlway. I am thinking of go karting/paintballing/quad biking, so can anyone recommend locations for these near Galway city? Or any other suggestions also welcome..

Im from Galway,

We used to have a really good go-karting track out in Oranmore a couple of years ago but has closed down since. The best one around now is out in Loughrea, its about 40 min drive but well worth it. It is a really good track & setup out there. The link to it is http://www.pallaskarting.com/

There is paintballing up in Westport which i hear is crap. I went paintballing in Limerick & it was really good. Just over an hour to an hour and a half away. I've been paintballing in America aswell and the setup they have in Limerick is almost as good as it was over there. Although the prices for paintball refills here are a LOT more expensive. So ya dont wann be too trigger happy The link to that site is http://www.combatzone.ie/

They might be too far away for your liking i dont know. There is also clay-pigeon shooting in the Glenlo Abbey Hotel. This is 5min drive from the city, it has to be pre-booked i think. It also has a 9 hole golf course there too.

Don't know about quad biking but just seen this on a website
