St. Patrick's Park Celbridge/Clane

My cousin who is in the market for buying a house now, took me along see two houses within her price range - one was a council house in St. Patrick's Park, Celbridge - the area didn't look that nice to me, the other was a house in Meadowview?, Clane. Does anyone have any opinions on either of these areas - I much preferred the house in Clane.

I viewed a house in St. Patrick's Park once, admittedly a while back now in 2006. One reason we didn't buy was that the traffic was too bad Dublin to Celbridge when we made the 7pm appointment. The house was fine, but one of the two next door houses was not well maintained and this was a major factor. Council houses of that era were well built so this wasn't an issue. I have passed through the estate a few times over the last few years and don't regret not buying there, and I grew up in a similar council housing estate
